Default Embed Media Player Question...

Hi have a little problem and was looking for some advise on the issue.

I'm building a new website that will have a embeded audio player for streaming audio, but the problem is that when someone clicks on a link to browse to a different page the audio will stop. Obviously this is happening because it's browsing away from the page with the audio player.

Now I know two ways around this, either with a frame, or a pop-up. Neither of which I'm really interested in doing as it would ruin the way the site would work. Is there some kind of HTML code or trick where I can make a absolute positioned frame on a certain part of the page where the embeded media player could live? If not, do you have any other suggestions?

I appreciate the help in advance,

Really good question, if neither a new small window nor a frame are good for you, you could stream the audio directly to Winamp or WMP.
That way they visitor will only have to open a playlist hosted in your site.
I think a firefox plugin could do that too.

Nope, there is nothing like that.
However you could make a frame without scrollbars in a part of your site that will look always the same, for example the header. And in that frame you can insert a small flash player. That way the header frame will not be reloaded neither will the flash player.

Those are just some ideas i'm having.
